Dr. Jon A Krumerman, MD

I have worked in many arenas of healthcare for 15+ years, and it was so refreshing to experience integrity and ethics and its highest! Dr. Krumerman was a Godsend! I have had cervical and lumbar back issues for the last 8+ years. Lumbar predominantly for the last 5 years. I tried a multitude of therapies (epidural injections, traction, physical therapy, exercises)...not to mention being on pain meds the entire time. 2 years ago, physicians claimed I needed a 3/4 level fusion. Based on the description, I opted to wait...until I went from bad to worse. A friend forced me to return to the doctor and suggested that I see a Neurosurgeon vs an Ortho. I received Dr. Krumerman's name from an industry friend and planned to visit, at least 3, Neuro's. However, once I met with Dr. K, I did not feel the need to go on another "tour of doctors" He is an active listener, which is key! He noted that I did not need a fusion and recommended a laminectomy for my spinal stenosis and discectomy… for a disc rupture. I woke up post-surgery nerve pain free! Today, I am four weeks post-surgery and off of pain meds. The only pain I am experiencing is from the surgical area, which I assume is normal. To sum it up, Dr. Krumerman 'walks the talk' of the Hippocratic Oath and I highly recommend him and his staff. I pray I never have to go through this again, but If I do, then I would return to Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine/ Dr. Krumerman!

Hands down a perfect experience and quality staff with attention to detail. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but his team was able to simplify the process and explain in detail what to expect.

I was referred to Dr. Krumerman by my primary care physician after years of office visits with complaints of lower back pain. The pain had gotten to the point that I was unable to stand for long periods of time, I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep and was even unable to sit for more than 10 mins. This went on for about a solid 10 years until I couldn’t stand the pain anymore. Upon visiting Dr. Krumerman, I felt relaxed and felt I was in the best hands possible. The office staff was kind, patient and very friendly. I was sent off to get an MRI done and the Dr. found an issue with the L5-S1 disc and recommended TLIF surgery. I was extremely hesitant and scared to have the surgery done since I had heard that some people were worse off after their surgery. I believed in Dr. Krumerman and so I put all my health and my faith in him. The day of the surgery came and went and I will tell you that it was the best decision I have ever made. I am well on my way to recovery and I have never felt… better. I am grateful for Dr. Krumerman and his staff.

From the first time I meet Dr. Krumerman I felt that I had found one of the best neural surgeons in the Dallas area. He and his staff make you feel as you are part of their family. Excellent care. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone. I can say that they gave me back the quality of life I was used to living. I will never be able to thank them enough. May God always watch over them.

Extremely nice staff & Dr. Krumerman thoroughly explains each step and all the options. He gave me plenty of attention and listened to me. I did not feel rushed into a decision, he just presented all the options . I am very pleased with his services.

This is the second time that I have seen Dr. Krumerman for my neck issues. He and his entire staff are always so professional and compasionate. He spends time explaining his diagnosis and then presents all treatment options, whether surgical or not. I always feel that I have a say in my treatment plan and would highly recommend him!

After office visit explaining exactly what was happening to me, he told me how he would relieve the constant pain I was in. Turn out great from a level 9.5 to .5 within day of surgery.

I have had trouble with my back and neck for years. I had done physical therapy, injections, chiropractic. My chiropractor recommended Dr Krumerman when there was nothing else he could do to help me. Surgery went very well and I felt a weight lifted off my shoulder right away. Dr Krumerman spent time answering all my questions before handed. It is not often that you get a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside matter with him you get both. I could not be happier!
