Dr. Jon S Rupright

Before even laying eyes on this dr, we were told by otherS, some of just who knew of his name, how wonderful, smart and great he was as a doctor! My husband received the most incredible, treatment on an inpatient and outpatient status while Dr Rupright was in practice at Rusk! He is phenomenal and no words can describe the extreme, intense, OFF the charts, AMAZING treatment and such precise and on target care he was able to give and without batting an eye or thinking twice! When your in such a scramble to make sense of such tragedy that has so recently struck someone so near and dear to you, that without even asking, then out of nowhere a dr is appointed for a specific job, to treat, mend, and medically restore the patient back to their health as much as humanly possible, by any and all means available Dr. Rupright is performing at more than 100% of all his ability, as anyone would want a doctor to do. Dr. Rupright is in such a difficult position at different times when caring for OUR… family members, he is treating all types of patients, some of whom who were given a very, very grim prognosis in relation Traumatic Brain Injuries, specifically, but this man, this wonderful man we know as Dr Rupright, walks in, standing ever so tall and looks at that prognosis like it means nothing and just GOES TO WORK, he works as if there is only a great accomplishment to be had in the end, with prayer to our Heavenly Father and Dr. Rupright's ever so GREAT understanding of his job, he performs nothing short of miracles!!! I'm not saying he can save everyone or that he can undo damage, but he gives it all he has and his understanding of medications, or the lack thereof as well as different combinations available is just mind blowing! He might not always be smiling, (although he does and talks kind words to all around when planning and advising of next steps in care) but trust that his brain is always thinking and planning and he has nothing but the highest regard for his patients and their family as they sit day after day watching what seems to be such slow progress in some areas, but he keeps everyone going, he has always been very straightforward! There are not enough kind things as well as boating words about his work as a dr, that will ever fully describe Dr. Jon Rupright! If you ever had the pleasure of working with him, or him working for you or a close friend or family member, you will never understand just how amazing his brain and skills really are! I feel he met every need we ever thought of having before the need was ever there!

The best doctor we have ever seen. He saved our son's life. And he really cares about his patients. I really wish he was still my son's doctor. The ones he sees now are less knowledgeable and don't seem to care.
