Dr. Brewer comes to Bend from Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He holds professional memberships in American Academy of Sleep Medicine and American Academy of Chest Physicians. He is board certified in Internal Medicine â€“ Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Brewer completed his Internal Medicine residency at David Grant Medical Center in Travis, CA and a Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine Fellowship from San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, his Osteopathic Medicine Degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Bachelor of Science from University of Maine at Orono. Dr. Brewer is interested in lung diseases and critical care medicine.

In his spare time, Dr. Brewer enjoys cycling, running and woodworking. He enjoys Central Oregon for the many outdoor activities and fantastic people who live here.

Jonathan Brewer has been horrible to work with! If you have any other options, at least look at them. Passive aggressive comes to mind. I feel sorry for the staff. If I can just save just one person the aggravation I’ve experienced it’s worth writing my first negative complaint I’ve ever posted. Look for integrity and honesty in a doctor.

Not impressed. Disrespectful. I purchased 3 Oxygen sensors; one my PCD recommended. My levels have been, "all over the place" from - 98% to 79% when resting after exercise. Dr B said those are garbage, there's NO WAY my levels can fluctuate that frequently. After HIS overnight test, YES - they did and were nearly identical to my testers. PLUS, his note in MyChart indicated I may be exaggerating!!! NOT going back to this guy.

Outstanding clinician. Great bedside manner. Highly trained and skilled. Always smiling. Obviously loves what he does. Only doctor I've ever seen who is always on time.

He gets points for niceness, but he two times I've seen him I've had to wait for him to finish talking to drug reps. He discounted my side effects and lack of progress with the standard asthma steroid protocol. He is set in his thinking that without steroids, patients are doomed to life on an oxygen tank. He is not open to hearing about research to the contrary, or the positive effects of diet or other protocols.

Nice enough guy but his patients keep dying - acts like he has not idea what he is doing - kind of like a used car salesman.
