Dr. Jonathan Cross Campbell, MD

We have enjoyed superior care from Dr. Campbell for many years. Recently, he saw us at Family Medical West-and we felt compelled to give kudos to all. The intake team was courteous and efficient. The nurse was professional and and well organized. The lab did a superior job even though we have deep, rolling veins. Finally, the exit team was well prepared. We are forever thankful for Dr. Campbell's genuine active listening and concern-you can dispense advice-but you can't order care and kindness.

Excellent physician with a great staff.

My husband is a patient at this office. Every time he calls for an appointment he is told the doctor will be out of the office. The staff directed him to schedule an appointment when he called their office complaining of chest pains. He had asked to speak with a nurse to determine if he should go to the hospital with the symptoms he was having or wait. The front office did not even allow him to speak with the nurse. Protocol is to direct patients to the nearest ER or to call 911. Unfortunately my husband was just needing confirmation as he was trying to find someone to tell him he did not need to go. Their casual response almost allowed that to happen. He had a sleep study completed and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. He took the paperwork by their office to have the machine ordered and was told he would have to wait for his upcoming appointment to address the CPAP machine. He had been instructed by the occupational health doctor who ordered the study to take it… to his PCP to get the machine order. Once at the appointment, Dr. Campbell refused to order the machine and stated he would have to go to pulmonary to get the order even though he already had been diagnosed and the report even provided the recommended settings. Had he known in advance that they do not order the CPAP machines (lots of PCP do) then he would not have wasted his time nor money seeing Dr. Campbell. I have worked in healthcare for 23 years in all aspects (clinical, management, and billing). This office is very lazy and does not put their patients first. I would not recommend them to anyone.

No personality to be a caring dr. Ask you to tell him why your there and he doesn't even listen. He treats you for one thing but you go home with other things not treated and having more questions than what you went with. He was to do two referrals for me and I called each day and they were not done and I was very sick. After playing this game for several months I now see a new dr at a whine new facility.

I just love Dr. Campbell and his nurse Rosie. They are two of the most professional doctor and nurse combination I have ever been too. However the front office staff needs to have more training on how to treat their customers.

Dr. Campbell is a truly excellent doctor!

Dr. Campbell is a fantastic doctor and diagnostician. He correctly diagnosed several medical conditions that other doctors had overlooked. Recently, family member of mine saw him and was very impressed with his bedside manner as well as his nurses in the back area. However, she was not fond of his front desk office staff, who mocked patients and were very rude to patients and their families. She also stated that the same staff made very inappropriate comments to her and other patients.

I used to think the sun set on Dr. Campbell until this year when he crossed over to the other side and became one of those that gave into the system. He no longer cares about he patients health,gets sarcastic when asked questions, misdiagnosed me and I almost died. If I had not gone to another doctor who found the real problem I could be very very sick right now. As it was I only had to suffer a little over 60 days until I was properly repaired. Because his boss and his bosses boss doesnt care either, I have taken further step and hope this does not happen to someone else. Sorry Doc.but you need to get your act back together or give it up.
