Wonderful kind caring doc highly recommend

I went to Dr. Klonsky as a nervous 50 something morbidly obese woman. From the first day I met him, he and his staff made me feel comfortable. They gave me so much confidence that I was hardly even nervous to have the gastric sleeve surgery. All the tests that were necessary, probably saved my life, since things were found in early stages and corrected. I am also 7 months completely smoke free because I could not have the surgery if I smoked. Syosset hospital was a "dream" place to have this surgery - but I can't go into details because this review will be too long. Dr. Klonsky and staff visited me often during my stay. Two months since my surgery and I am off of my cholesterol medicine, 40+ pounds down and feel better than I have in years. It's not an easy process post-surgery, but it is so worth it AND I have all the support from Dr. Klonsky and staff for life!

Very knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, friendly and delightful doctor. Enjoyed my visit with him as he explained everything about the surgery I needed very clearly. Can't think of a single drawback and I am fully confident of his expertise. The best doctor I have met in a long time. I recommend him highly to all who are planning laparoscopic surgery. In addition his staff was also great, very courteous and efficient.

I told him, homecare told him, Huntington Hills told him something was wrong with my mother. He refused to listen. After my mothers surgery she was running 101.2 fever. He told me it wasn't his problem . My mother called him He said I can't help you !! My mother had an abcess!! I wouldn't let my dog near him.

Dr. Klonsky is the best surgeon ever. He performed a surgery on me for cyst removal (left axillary) where many cysts existed and the surgery was a success. He is compassionate, professional, and he makes you feel as if you were dealing with a family member. I would recommend him to anyone for sure. I would not hesitate to use him again if needed. He ROCKS!

Dr. Klonsky is a wonderful Surgeon. My husband and I both had lap-band surgery. He has great bed-side manner, a great sense of humor,easy to talk to, listens to everything we say and is very compassionate. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of bariatric surgery! He is amazing!!!

I have been seeing Dr Klonsky for about a year now. He did my lap band surgery 10 months ago. He is easy to talk to and has a great bedside manner.
