Dr. Kuehne is a great surgeon who's just aggressive enough to get the job done without taking unnecessary risks. He did an incredible sphincterotomy on me which has relieved me of all pain and has given my life back. Many people are concerned about Kaiser Permanente and their level of care. I've had PPO insurance all my life but never received a care & attention that Dr. Kuehne gave me with any other providers. I consider him to be one of the best doctors in California.

Dr. Kuehne is one of the best surgeons I have seen and I've seen quite a few in my lifetime.

My experience wth Dr Kuehne was beyond anything I have come to expect from my HMO. He was caring, interested in what I had to say. He evaluated my condition, and came to a decision on treatment. His post-op visits took as long as I needed, without ever a hesitation or a "gotta go" attitued, so common in medicine today.
