Dr. Jonathan David Parkhurst, MD

Not fond of the internal medicine department whatsoever. I see Doctor Parkhurst and I am currently in the market for another PCP. I had 2 missed diagnoses over my time under his care that went completely untreated due to his lack of ability to put 2+2 together. I’ve frequently complained about my weight, and inability to lose weight even with strict diet and exercise. Despite asking for medicine to assist, he would never budge. As of last week, a different doctor in a different department was able to accurately diagnose a REAL problem which correlates why I am struggling with weight loss and I began treatment this week after a few years of complaining and multiple rounds of bloodwork levels that should have raised eyebrows. I wouldn’t recommend him, he does not have the ability to think outside of the box and throughout my time with him he was unable to diagnose me with 2 things that in retrospect, are easily diagnosable and evident. All of my concerns were Brushed to the side with no… real answers. Now I have the answers and I feel like an idiot for sticking around as long as I did.

I have seen Dr. Parkhurst for a few years, but I would not recommend him. I am looking for a new Internist.

ZERO personality and his nurse is very rude. He sits there on his tablet writing the whole time and then rushes you out the door. Doctors need to listen to their patients and take the time to understand fully why we are there. AND the nurse, well she is the first one we see so be a little nicer and smile, customer service skills are also included with your job...

My daughter has seen Dr Parkhurst fir a few years and he ut her on painkillers, heard oxy??Need to ck records of hers. Doc scripted her this for well over a year maybe 2. She got approx 150 or 180 a mont. My daughter became an addict from the negligence of the doctors pill pushing. She then turned to heroin, it has been a 3 year battle, and Nikki just lost her life to a heroin over dose. There is always a beginning and an end.Very sickened that doctors think they are God and have the god given right to hand out pk's for a year, maybe 2. Friends included.

This doctor gave my child painkillers for an issue, and continued to give my of age child very dangerous strong painkillers for 2 years as she became very sick, addicted, and almost died. Doctors that practice by over medicating their patients are feeding the addiction progression in our nation. Sad sad truth. Now my family and I are in a battle keeping our child well. Its excruciating.

He always listen and hear what you say.he care about people.a very good man as well as a doctor.
