Dr. Jonathan David Solomon, MD

Simply the best opthalmoligists in the Washington Metro area. One Saturday about 5 PM, I called the Solomon Associates phone number hoping for an answering service. After getting a recording, I hung up...only to get a call from Dr Jonathan Solomon asking if I needed help. I explained that I was seeing flashing lights and a lot of black spots which may have indicated a detached retina. Dr Solomon met me in the office at 6 PM that Saturday night and did a very thorough dilated exam. And this was only one example of the exceptional care I have gotten. They are very competent and caring doctors with very capable, optometrists, technicians and a customer-oriented office staff. Check them out. You will be glad you did.

Dr. Solomon (the son) is an excellent doctor. He performed cataract surgery on my eyes some years ago and I've never had any problems. However, on my last visit he had merged/increased his staff, the office wait time was unbelievable. My last visit was 2+ hours. When his practice was smaller, just he and his dad, to me things were much better.

Mr. Solomon took by my vision from getting to the point of being dangerous for me to drive to 20/25. I had cataract surgery 4 yrs ago from a different Dr. that really failed me. Dr. Solomon saw the problem immediately and made plans to correct my vision. His staff is amazing. So kind, patient and VERY thorough before the Dr sees you. If you're having any type of vision problems, make an appointment yesterday.

I have been going to this practice for 10 years - I send my friens and family to see Dr Solomon because he is the best. They always have the latest technology and never present to me options that are not right for me.
