The Veterans Administration let me choose a private eye surgeon to remove cataracts on both my eyes. I researched through dozens, and decided on Dr. Jonathan Stock. WOW! What a great choice I made! Everyone in the office was top-notch professional and friendly - through several calls and also when I was there. Dr. Stock was 100% focused on me, as a person. He wanted to help ME. So friendly, and smart! I could feel it as soon as I met him. He said he wouldn't want to do surgery at this time - that it would likely make my eyes worse, since the cataracts were mild. He checked and rechecked - wasn't in a hurry to get on to the next patient. He spent time WITH ME. He said that my severe headaches (from eye strain) would likely be gone if I'd simply get contacts. He added that my eyes had an odd shape, and recommended a particular optometrist across the valley. Dr. Stock said, "he's not close, but I feel he can give YOU the best fit in a contact. If Dr. Stock could be my eye Dr. for the… rest of my life, I'd be one happy woman.
