Dr. Jonathan Andrew Virkler, MD

You would think that since he specializes in EMERGENCY medicine, he would be a little considerate, but no. Avoid Jonathan Virkler, MD at all costs! One of the most inconsiderate, rude, impatient, heartless doctors I’ve ever come in contact with. I have a medical condition that unfortunately puts me in the hospital every other month. Every admittance during his shift has been a nightmare. He talks over you, doesn’t listen to anything, runs as many tests to rack up the bill and then sends you home. Every SINGLE time, I am readmitted within the next 24 hours because the problem is unsolved.

Had the most unfortunate E.R. visit at Jupiter Medical with this doctor. I was told by the doctor that I was to need stitches for lacerations to my hand from broken glass. Next thing I know Im being told by the nurse Im being discharged. I told the nurse I was waiting for stitches and she check with he doctor. He said I was to go home an the wounds would heal on their own. 2 hours later I had to re-visit the E.R. because I could not stop the bleeding. Upon seeing another doctor who was fantastic, I was stitched up and ready to go. Even that doctor mentioned that I should have had stitches to begin with. Dr. Jonathan is horrible and I would not trust his opinions at all! Everything from his bed side manner to his ability is awful!

Evaluated and understood emergency condition immediately. Utilized least invasive therapy to successfully resolve problem. Would recommend without hesitation.
