Dr. Jordan Jacob Glenn

I have waited to leave this review to give ample time for Dr. Glenn to respond to my family. Dr. Glenn performed a "routine" gallbladder surgery on my 24 year old son. We had issues on day one with him not being sent home with the noted medications and the discharge instructions were missing critical information. We called the office and never received a call back. Several days later we were in the ER with my son for extreme stomach pain and constipation. They sent him home with a home remedy. We reached out to Dr. Glenn asking if this could be surgery related and was told it was simply constipation, nothing to be worried about. Two days later we were back in the ER with my son in such extreme pain that he was almost seizing. I again immediately made contact with Dr. Glenn asking if there was any way this could be related to the surgery and he emphatically denied. He stated he would "watch over my son's chart" for any significant changes but was certain the hospital would treat the… issue. Over the next several days I reached out again to Dr Glenn explaining that I was certain this was a bile leak and I was losing my son. I asked him to get involved and get the proper testing done to diagnose the leak. Dr. Glenn continued to deny any responsibility for any possibility and did not order such tests nor talk to the doctors on my son's case at the time. Our family eventually found an independent surgeon who agreed it looked like a leak, ran the tests, found a bile duct leak and had it stented. It was at this time that Dr. Glenn started calling my cellphone almost daily to check on my son, but at this point, he was too late. He stated he had “no idea how this happened”. Within 48 hours the surgeon realized that my son was indeed dying and there must be something else wrong and exploratory surgery was needed. We were told to call in our son from Pennsylvania as it wasn't certain he would make it through the surgery. After surgery, the doctor told us our son was FILLED with bile, his organs were paper thin from sitting in this bile for over 10 days, and he had to remove a portion of his intestine as ANOTHER nick was found from Dr. Glenn's surgery. The doctor explained that our son was being placed on life support in order to give him a fighting chance to recover. TEN DAYS went by where Dr. Glenn could have manned up and admitted he may have made a mistake and ordered the tests to find his errors. Instead, our son was in the hospital 26 days and still, 10 months later, has pain, discomfort, difficulty eating certain foods and has not been able to return to his previously athletic, active lifestyle. Our family reached out to Dr. Glenn to let him know that our son, who is a young adult and in charge of his own legal decisions, did not want to seek a lawsuit, however felt Dr. Glenn should cover current and near future medical expenses. Dr. Glenn agreed and connected us with his insurance people. They denied our request for our son’s 2022 deductible even though Dr. Glenn agreed that was the least he could do. Our son sent him a letter and Dr. Glenn never responded. He had his not-at-fault insurance send a check to cover the costs we had for the hospital, but Dr. Glenn never had the decency to reach out to our son after receipt of his letter to follow up with him. I really lost respect for Dr. Glenn. I realize all surgeries come with the possibility of mistakes. However, Dr. Glenn made TWO mistakes and him not being willing to admit the possibility of those mistakes almost cost my son his life. That is not OK and not someone who I would want to do a surgery on me or any of my friends or other family members. I need a doctor who is willing to take accountability for even the slightest possibility of making an error in the assistance of taking the best care for their patient.

Office Manager Tish and Doctor Glenn went above and beyond to get our urgent surgery scheduled. They both are respectful and caring.

I met Dr. Glenn when I was 38 weeks pregnant and admitted to the ER with pancreatitis from gallstones. He checked on me twice daily while I was in labor (3 days) and in post-partum to get scheduled to remove my gallbladder. He is so nice and made everything about having my first baby and general surgery easy. The office staff is very nice and accommodating, too! I hope I don't need anymore surgery, but if I do, I will see Dr. Glenn. I would refer everyone to him.

Dr. Glenn repaired my left inguinal hernia with the da Vinci robot. I came out of surgery with three tiny incisions. I am so glad I chose him as my surgeon. I had very little pain and my recovery was easier than I expected. He was very kind and took a long time to explain things to me both before and after surgery.
