Dr. Jorge Garcia, MD, FACC, FASE

Dr. Jorge Garcia is a cardiologist who specializes in cardiovascular disease, with particular expertise in pediatric and adult congenital heart conditions. He earned his medical degree from Central University of Ecuador and completed his residency at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Garcia pursued specialized fellowship training at Southwest Medical Center in Dallas and Children's Medical Center of Dallas, giving him advanced expertise in both adult and pediatric cardiac care. He holds board certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and maintains fellowship status with the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and American Society of Echocardiography (FASE). Dr. Garcia is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Garcia practices at AdventHealth Waterman and sees patients across multiple locations throughout Florida, including Lake Mary, Orlando, Melbourne, and Daytona Beach. His clinical focus centers on treating complex heart conditions present from birth, including …congenital heart disease and atrial septal defects. He also provides care for patients experiencing irregular heart rhythms and cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Garcia performs specialized cardiac diagnostic procedures such as dobutamine stress echocardiograms and doppler echocardiograms to evaluate heart function, along with electrocardiograms to monitor heart rhythm.
