Dr. Jose Roberto Antunes, MD

This doctor billed my insurance $475. for an office visit with the nurse!! The doctor came in for under 3 mins at the end. I did not get the sense that the doctor spent any time looking at my past blood work previous to my visit, he barely looked at me and he was not helpful at all in offering medical advice or guidance about my thyroid problem. He ordered over $850 in new labs. After telling me on the phone that my numbers aren't drastic enough to do anything, they suggested I come back in for another visit. I had already found another doctor who actually cares about helping me feel my best. My experience was that Dr. Antunes is more focused on price gouging, doing the bare minimum with little care to treating the patient, and relyed on his nurses to do everything. The office staff and nurses were very nice but there is no way I will return to this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Antunes for approximately 16 years after a thyroid cancer diagnosis. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for him, I would not be here. He and his staff consistently go above and beyond and treat me like a family member. I refuse to change doctors even though he is not "in Network" and I have quite a drive to get to him now. The time and money spent to worth it knowing that he is looking out for my well being. He takes as much time as I need and truly listens. He remembers aspects of my personal life and always inquires as to the health and happiness of my family. I can honestly say that Dr. Antunes is the best doctor I have ever known and I a grateful for all the care and attention he has given me over the years.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Was concerned what the best treatment for me considering age & other health problems. People must remember this is not a social visit.

I saw doctor several times and paid my bill on the day of visit every time. Staff would harass me every time for payment even though I paid on time and every time. It became so frustrating and insulting that I cancelled my last appointment and left the doctor. Some people just naturally have abrasive personalities and it appears that the birds have all landed in this doctors office. Don't put up with this-it's not worth the frustration.

Not only did the Dr. not ask me any questions but he dictated several drugs without talking to me at all about my overall health. He looked at the numbers of my tests and failed to discuss surrounding events. He was dictatorial and arrogant.

He is a very professional doctor. Up on the latest information and techniques.

We are truly blessed to have found Dr. Antunes and his staff. They have been caring, helpful, professional people that we could not imagine dealing with my husbands diabetes and my hypothyroidism without. The entire staff has gone above and beyond for us. We know we can call for help anytime. Eva the diabetic specialist is amazing! She really knows her stuff and has saved us many calls to EMS and has kept my husband alive. We consider Dr. Antunes and all of his staff part of our health care FAMILY. We love them all!!!

Excellent! I would have never found out that my Vitamin D was below normal had I not gone to see Dr. Antunes! All these years I had been suffering with body aches and depression. After a 10 week Vitamin D prescription, I came alive! No pain and am living life again. Thank you!

Dr. Antunes was able to correctly prescribe the amount of insulin required to bring down my A1C dramatically. He has excellent rapport with patients, is caring and kind, and his staff is excellent as well.
