I had a torn rotator cuff and Dr. Perez-Sanz took time to understand the injury from my perspective and what I was looking to recover for my lifestyle. Surgery a huge success - minimal post-op pain, began physical therapy quickly and have returned to racket sports & golf.

Dr. Perez Sanz has done 4 shoulder surgeries for me, including a reverse shoulder replacement. He is the kindest, most concerned physician I have ever had. He is truly concerned with your pain and taking care of it. He is friendly, very personable, and takes all the time YOU need to explain your diagnosis and treatment plan. I recently bumped into him accidentally while visiting my mother at Palos hospital, and he was truly happy to see me and asked at length how my shoulder replacement was doing. He took 20 minutes out of I am sure a busy day to talk with me on a personal level. I cannot recommend someone looking for an expert, kind, concerned, and skillful shoulder surgeon any higher than Dr. Perez Sanz, and in fact recommended him to several colleagues at the Police Department where I worked. All three of them regard him highly also.

Dr. Perez Sanz is one of the most caring and dedicated physicians around. He takes the time to listen to you and your concerns, and zeroes right in on the problem. He is very sympathetic to his patients and provides excellent orthopaedic treatment. I heartily recommend him if you need to see a true shoulder specialist.

I felt he dismissed my injury. He told me my injury was a mystery. HE IMPLIED I did not have pain. I felt insulted.
