Best doctor I have. Attentive, thoughtful, answers all questions. Is never rushed or hurried.

I've been a patent of Albany Gastroenterology since mid 1980s and a patient of Dr. Choma for over a decade. Very caring doctor who've helped me with digestive problems and caught a stomach cancer tumor early on. I am a 100% disabled veteran and he's done more than what the VA has ever done. He's one of the few reasons I keep private health insurance. I have no doubt Dr. Choma is one of the reasons I'm still alive today.

One of the things I most appreciate about Dr. Choma is that he doesn't talk to me as if I am an idiot He explains everything, isn't offended by my questions and doesn't make me feel dumb for asking them. He has been treating me for 10 years, and I have nothing but praise for his medical expertise as well as bedside manner.

We love Dr Choma, met him for the first time in the ICU at Albany Med where he saved my husbands life. He is a caring person who listenes to his patients and family members. He explains things clearly and patiently. He clearly exhibits compassion. Thank you Dr Choma!
