In 2005 at 34, I had a brain aneurysm. Dr. Joseph A Demattia saved my life by performing a complicated operation in my brain. Since then I feel fine, and I have almost fully recovered. I am very grateful to the Doctor!

I had a Surgery done by him at C6 C7 level in early 2017 after a car Accident. He is very approachable ,knowledgeable forthcoming.

Some 10 years ago, after a fall I fractured C1, C2, and dens. Dr. Demattia (together with Dr. Franco Cerabona), at the much lamented St. Vincent's Hospital, put me together again. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Demattia's skill, kindness, and wonderful bedside manner. R. Aiello

I am fortunate to have Dr.Joseph DeMattia perform emergency neck surgery on me at Comey Island Hospital following the fracturing of C-1 and C-2 spinal vertebrae. He is very approachable and is a highly competent doctor. I would recommend him without any hesitation or reservations
