Doctor Kou is an excellent physician/surgeon who takes care of his patients. The bunion surgery he performed on my foot is very good, healed quickly with no complications. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic needs!

Dr Kou has been a game changer for me! The last surgery on my right foot was done incorrectly, leaving me with pain and discomfort. He was a podiatrist, a nice man, not a true surgeon I don’t believe. Dr Kou, an orthopedic surgeon pointed out in the examination how the surgery was not working and how it can be corrected. I’m so glad I found Dr Kou!

Dr Kou has treated my wife and I over the last 10 years. Dr Kou treated my wife for Osteoarthritis and myself for a broken ankle. Dr Kou has great listening and communication skills, good sense of humor, excellent at surgery, very passionate about proving best care. I’ve had other doctors tell me, when finding out Dr Kou is treating me, “You’re in excellent hands with Dr Kou”. Dr Kou is when you know you’ve found a great doctor.

Doctor Joseph Kou, MD, is an orthopedic physician - an exceptional one, to be clear. I don't write too many reviews unless it has to do with something positive; something that others might benefit from, so here it is... I was recently diagnosed with enthesophyte; a bone spur at the heel and Achilles tendon, sometimes known as a heel spur. It's very painful and extremely complicated. At the pre-op appointment, his description of the surgery was made very clear to me; how it was done, what to expect, and how the two of us could make sure it was successful. He's a great communicator and easy to talk to. There's a lot of other nice things I'd like to highlight, but in short, the work he performed was outstanding. I'm extremely greatful; cant say it enough. If you're looking for a solid professional, check him out. I'd refer anyone to Doctor Joseph Kou

My experience with the Doctor and his staff waw terrific. My foot was damaged due to bad surgery by an another medical provider. Unlike this other provider, Doctor Kou listened to my concern, came up with a plan and then did a very good job executing it. The staff was also very positive and helpful.

For me, Dr Kou did a big toe bone fusion, straightened my toe and removed several bone spurs from the top of my foot. It was an intricate surgery to say the least. Dr Kou is extremely kind, thorough, responsive, wonderful bedside manner, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and an amazing surgeon. I can’t recommend him enough and if Dr Kou is your doctor, you are in GREAT hands!!
