I came into the er and was givin this dr he refused to treat me wouldn’t check my blood pressure nothing!! Told me I was fine go home and don’t come back with non emergency’s . So I then went to a different er were I got the treatment i needed and my blood pressure lowered to safety.

I went to ER at midnight from a terrible fall-sat in hallway for 3 hours in excruciating pain. He came out asked what happened about 1 1/2 hours in...said he’d get me something for pain-that did not happen for another 2 hours. After getting in triage room he never came in- not one time, until 45 minutes after being xrayed. He then comes in for a brief 20 seconds tops and said-“nothing is broken, I’ll bet you’re ready to go home and turned around and walked out”.He never looked at my back, nor did he offer any other information, etc. My husband and I sat there dumbfounded. I have always been super pleased by the care at UT-this was totally wrong and I will be reaching out to a Patient Advocate!
