One Star

Has a great interpersonal manner, but has staff do workups and so you don't get to meet him until you're on the gurney. Pre-surgical work-up was slipshod so that I was not aware of problems that would have had me reject this surgical option.Get a second opinion from a different hospital if you are considering transplant at Georgetown.

One Star

Interpersonal manner is caring, but he makes rapid decisions without sufficient information and lied to me after a surgery. I do not recommend this surgeon.

Bladder Cancer

Your bladder is the hollow, muscular organ in your lower belly where urine is stored. When you urinate, the muscles of your bladder contract and push urine out through a tube called the urethra. Bladder cancer starts when cells in the bladder start to grow out of control. These cells can form into a bladder tumor. They can also spread outside your bladder to lymph nodes and to structures far from the bladder, like your bones, lungs or liver. This is known as metastasis.
