Dr. Joseph Bernard Savage, MD

Would just like to add........after manu miscarriages he was the one doctorto identify and medicate the problem. After three loses. He was the one that with his wisdom helped my body to carry on a full term pregnancy, I delivered a beatiful baby girl. Yes maybe his office is outdated, it's hard to get an appointment but he is 100% dedicated to you and is not constantly looking at his watch to top of very knowledgeable and like his patients to truly understand what issues they may have. Just love him and miss him. Hope he recovers and is back to practicing soon. So what he runs late once in a while........well worth it. I will be forever thankful and in debt with him!

I almost died because no one in the office, including Dr. Savage, reviewed bloodwork that showed my triglycerides were 1900--not when the lab was received with notations HIGH--not even after I called several times that month to complain of symptons as a result. Nor was I given an appt--nor was i referred to the ER. If I hadn't driven myself to the ER, I'd be dead.

Have tried numerous times to set up an appointment - always get the answering machine and they never return my call

I am so offended by the lack of courtesy and follow-through from Dr. Savage's office.His front-desk adminstrator is incredibly RUDE. I have asked for my records to be FAXED to my PCP FIVE TIMES...and, it STILL hasn't been done. I am NEVER going back.

Although the wait is undesirable, after 5 years of struggling with doctors to find what was wrong, Dr. Savage was helpful, explained every detail, made sure I understood everything before he would let me know. The follow ups are reasonable as I need to maintain rather than track daily.

Very Thorough. Spent a lot of time with me.

Despite the old and not up-dated office that the practice obviously outgrew long ago,once in, Dr. Savage is remarkable in his knowledge, explanations and time spent with you.
