Dr. Joseph Earl Sheppard, MD

Dr. Shepard performed surgery on my right hand. It had gotten to the point I was constantly dropping stuff and I was in unrelenting pain. I had basal joint arthritis, a trigger finger, and carpal tunnel. He repaired all of the issues in one surgery. The recovery period was less painful than the pain I had before surgery and my hand is almost normal. I am getting ready to go back to Dr Shepard because my left hand basal joint arthritis has gotten worse.

Dr. Sheppard installed hardware in my left wrist in 2012 and last week removed them. Not only were both surgeries successful, but he couldn't be more professional, informative and patient. From the very beginning, Dr. Sheppard put me at ease and has excellent bedside manner and spends as much time as needed at every visit. There isn't a better surgeon out there and I highly recommend him.

After much research on websites like this one, seeing Dr Sheppard was highly recommended, I opted to have him do my wrist surgery. He mutiliated my wrist. When trying to discuss this with him on my follow up appt. He took great attitude, stated he is standing by his work and suggested I find another Orotho Dr.

Dr. Sheppard and his staff are top notch. I fracture of the Distal Humerous bone and the Proximal Ulma cause my right arm to be usless. Today, 90 days later you would never know I had a serious injury. I cannot be more grateful for the skill and care I recieved at the UAMC Orthopeadic surgery unit.

Solved a very complex problem to repair a servere break in my humerous bone and fractured elbow. Within 3 weeks I was able to touch my nose and was healing beutifully. I am very greatful for the professionalism and knowledge by Dr. Joseph Sheppard and Dr. Bobby Dezfuli. Great Surgeons and staff
