He cussed my 9 year old sister in the face telling her it was BS she would not take miralax and yelled she was pi$sing him off. Completely unprofessional to treat anyone this way but a child, and one who he understood suffers from anxiety, is unacceptable. Shame on him.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr Shook is with my children. I would always get to see him because he sees my family the same day without an appointment when they are sick!

My child was constantly getting sick. I took her to Dr. Shook, who treated her for a virus. Sick again two weeks later with same symptoms, only difference being they were more severe. This kept up for an extended period of time, with him never figuring out what was wrong with my child. She was being treated for an assortment of illnesses. No treatments were working, my child was getting sicker and had lost a drastic amount of weight. She was even diagnosed with a eating disorder (totally wrong). After my child was admitted to the hospital another doctor saw her and after scoping, immediately diagnosed her chronic illness. We wasted almost two years before my child was correctly diagnosed. I felt like my child's illness was not being taken serious by this doctor.
