Great visit, Dr Herzog is very personable, answered all my questions, as a veteran it was nice to be seen by a veteran as well.

Orthovirginia and Dr. HERZOG are top notch professionals that provide the best care possible for their patients.

If a doctor says you need spine surgery, see Dr. Herzog before you do. He will give you an honest evaluation. I for one would rate he as 6 stars.

Dr Herzog was very informative considering my being a new Patient and a Nurse being afraid of needles. The staff was welcoming and prompt as well.

Dr. Herzog performed a spinal fusion and, at a later date, a neck fusion which have allowed me to continue to have a normal life. In addition, he referred me to a pain management MD for sacroiliac steroid injections which alleviated major pain when sitting, standing, and walking. I highly recommend Dr. Herzog and I refer everyine I know to him for back and neck problems.

I had my one-year check-up after my 2-step spinal operation. Dr. Herzog is a doctor who really cares about his patients & listens to them and explains everything clearly! So far my operation has been a great success and I am pain-free! I trust Dr. Herzog completely, I am grateful... to have such a doctor in the area! Dr. Herzog & his team have excellent bedside manner!

His bedside manners really need to be operated on. To eager to explain then on to the next one.(patient ) Had back injection , I was a little late due to traffic. Walked into the The surgical area He mumbled his greetings, did injection and just left no “goodbye, take care” or anything.Even the nurse noticed that and made a comment about his manner

Who writes these reviews? My experience was the exact opposite of them. Rude, short tempered, way too egar to perform ELECTIVE back surgery without explaining ANYTHING! And the BTW is - Wait times in the office were usually hours, until my very last office visit.

He was very professional while being friendly and comforting. He speaks directly to you to help you understand everything that is going on with you.He respects your decisions while explaining everything to you that your treatment or surgery will entitle.You can feel that he understands and cares.He is unique and for me the best in his profession.He is a beautiful soul and I think he is an example for all Doctors.Thank you Dr. Herzog for taking care of me. I feel absolutely safe ,comfortable and relaxed about my upcoming surgeries.

Dr. Herzog was very courteous and professional. He listened and certainly up with a plan to help me and set me up with an MRI and Thank God he did,my pain was unbearable at times. Would recommend him highly.
