Dr Woody spend appropriate time in listening to my issues. Examined thoroughly & ordered appropriate testing on the same day. Follow up appointment was advised depending of some off future testing. .

The Dr asked me to expalin the problem I was experiencing. He examined me and told me what the diagnosis was and then went to the computer to enter some information and said he was ordering some additional tests or something - it was not crystal clear to me at this time what he was ordering. He then left the room and said he would be back. Shortly therafter someone else who I do not think I had seen before came back with two orders - one for an MRI and one for an EMG and some intructions on how to schedule the MRI. I read them and was not sure what was going on. I was upset that this was not explained to me in detail and the nurse then went to seek the Dr who came back and explained to me why these two procedures were required. The overall feeling I had when handed the orders was that the details of why they were needed was not necessarily important to me. When a patient has something wrong with them, they may not hear everything the Doctor is communicating as there is often a lot… of information to process and the Dr., who is generlay familiar with the situation is going through the communication at a pretty rapid clip. I hope after the procedures are done and the Dr has a better understanding what the underlying issue and causes are and the various treatment options are discussed with me, he will take the time to go over the options in a methodical manner that allows me to absorb the options and make a sound decision.

Dr. Woody is wonderful!

Dr. Woody is very caring and interested in his patients. Methodist is lucky to have such a fine surgeon as Dr. Woody. He has been treating my shoulder for several years, not just rushing to surgery.

Wish that the doctor has more time in explaining as to the result /ordering of new test.
