Dr. Joshua Zeichner, MD

Dr. Zeichner barely let me get a word in edgewise, even when I was telling him important information, like how I long I had previously been on a relevant medication, was thoroughly uninterested in speaking with me, and was basically the embodiment of why women are distrustful of healthcare providers. He clearly doesn't want to see patients and was extremely unhelpful. Save yourself the time and see a doctor who cares about your wellbeing.

I am in my mid-20s and I suddenly got a pretty bad case of acne on my face for the first time since middle school. I went to go see another doctor (via this site) and she was terrible. She was ushering me to do laser resurfacing on my first visit. But Dr. Zeichner is a whole different story. This man got my face back to normal, back to being clear and healthy. He took the time to listen and prescribed me the right amount of medication and told me to only come to him about laser after my face got completely cleared up. I went back for my second visit and he again gave great advice for keeping my skin healthy and told me to come to him in 6 months to talk about laser. He is not out there to make money, he is a real doctor, one who knows his field. It is so reassuring to have a doctor like him, which is why I am writing this review, especially after the horrible experience with the first dermatologist.

Dr. Zeichner really helped my skin condition. I have been suffering from an itchy condition for months which he has really helped me get through. He was very thorough and drew a battery of lab tests and a skin biopsy. He then suggested several potential treatments. I took his advice and I am really doing much better! I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family members with skin problems...

I had been suffering for acne for years. I have seen several dermatologists and have tried several differnt creams. None seemed to work. I was very frustrated and made an appointment to see Dr Zeichner based on a friend's recommendation that he specialized in acne. I was pleasantly surprised that rather than give me new prescriptions he worked with me to make sure I was using the ones I already had correctly. None of the other doctors took the time to go over with me what I was doing wrong. My skin has not looked this good in years, and it is on its way to being perfect! Dr. Zeichner was great and saved me from spending the fortune I now feel I wasted on extra products.

I saw Dr. Zeichner for cosmetic reasons. I was concerned about the way my face was aging and asked him about some lasers and chemical peels. He was great because he took the time to explain why my face was looking the way that it was. He answered my questions and made recommendations for alternative treatments that he thought would be better. I went ahead with his recommendation and he gave me some Restylane. I could not be happier. What was making me look old and tired did not turn out to be what I had thought! I will definitely go back to Dr. Zeichner for more cosmetics in the future.

I saw Dr. Zeichner for treatment of acne that I had been suffering with for years. He took the time to go over with me what type of skin I had, and what he thought would be the best medicines for me. I was at first disappointed to hear that it would take several weeks before I would really see improvement. But he was right! I have been seeing him for about 6 months now, and my skin has never been clearer!

Dr. Zeichner gave me a very thorough total body skin check. He found a mole that was suspicious and sent it to the lab. Fortunately, it did not need an additional treatment. He was caring and attentive during the exam. What I was most impressed with was that he took the time to call me himself to tell me that the biopsy came back fine. I wish more doctors would do that. In the past I was just told that "no news is good news" and I never got feedback. Dr Z is a gem.

An absolute gem as a practitioner and a person; he treats his patients with respect, intelligence, and kindness. Dr. Zeichner is genuinely concerned with helping you achieve the outcome you've hoped for.
