Dr. Juanita C Polito Colvin, MD

have been with Dr Polito for 26 years. all 4 of my children have benefited from her care. would not go anywhere else. Dr Polito herself is a wonderful person. The office staff makes the rest of the experience wonderful too.

Dr. Polito has been great when our 3 kids were born (great in the beginning and worse as they are getting older). But she always seems to be busy and doesn't spend more than an 1-2 minutes. When we take our sick kids with fever, they don't even bother about taking the temperature down. They rush and send us out quickly. I am really unhappy the way the attention is given.

Dr P is wonderful with my easy going, typically developing first child. Her staff is great and we really like her. Her office is great at getting your kids in and out quick and she was wonderful with both of our children as newborns. Both had minor issues at birth and I was very pleased with how she dealt with them. However, we eventually moved our Autistic son to another practice. We had been consistently asking about his developmental delays since he was 7 weeks old and finally after 3 years of asking she agreed to send him to get evaluated. He now has a diagnosis of moderate to severe autism. After his diagnosis we stayed with the office for another 2 years but we never got any direction on where to go or what to do to help him. The visits when he was sick were always really hard. The staff never seemed to know how to deal with him and Dr Polito never seemed to have the time to work with him. So every exam involved pinning him down to look in his ears or get a throat swab (which… wasn't the case before he was diagnosed and he will do with a little extra coaxing).Dr Polito is a good doc if you have typical kids, and her practice is WONDERFUL for saving time and being convenient for busy parents. But if you have a child with chronic issues or developmental delays, anything that might take some time, extra guidance or proactive action, I would recommend a different doc.

Dr. Polito is doctor for all 4 of my children. She has been nothing but wonderful every time I have seen her and she was very quick to examine them after their birth and then come see me and report on her exam. My youngest son was born with some medical issues which she quickly took action to treat. On the rare occasion when she is not available, any of the other St. Louis Ped. Assoc. doctors I've spoken to or seen have been equally as great! Our family is lucky to have found her!

Dr. Polito has been my children's pediatrician since the first was born in 1991. I was very sad when my 19 year old had to move from her care to the family physician due to his age! She is a wonderful doctor, has ALWAYS been there, taken terrific care of my kids, and has ALWAYS been very proactive in their care. I would recommend her to anyone!

This was the covering doctor for my pediatrician and she was impatient and acted too busy for my daughter's asthma issues. Then the nurse told me the following day when we were in to see our regular doctor that she had complained to the about me of all things!

Dr. Polito has been a great pediatrician for us. She has been very responsive and helpful with both of our kids that had chronic sinus and ear infections and helped us manage some difficult to diagnose things relative to reflux and allergies.
