Dr. Judith Barbara Lavrich, MD

Dr. Lavritch figured out why I was having difficulty seeing and knew how to fix it when other doctors couldn’t give me an answer or a solution. She also did my cataract surgery. She took the time to explain my options and my results are incredible. I now have perfect vision at distance and up close. I was anxious about surgery so chose to have anesthesia and my experience at the hospital was also very good. She has also helped my child with divergence and convergence issues and it’s home based and very affordable as opposed to other doctors offering very expensive in person therapies. If your child has trouble reading, adhd or a concussion, see Dr. Lavritch. Extremely intelligent, competent, and caring doctor.

Dr. Lavrich recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I opted for the premium lens. I have been wearing glasses since 2 1/2 yrs old and with the new lenses, I am now seeing 20/30 out of one eye and 20/20 out of my other eye. It's so wonderful to see so well!

Yesterday, I joined my daughter in her respect & admiration for Dr. Lavrich. We "found" Dr Lavrich 25 years ago when my daughter, then 4, was diagnosed with Amblyopia (lazy eye). My husband & I were deeply touched & reassured by Dr. Lavrich that our daughter would be fine.. & indeed she is! As life happens, I developed some sort of "mass" on my bottom eyelid and it needed to be removed. Dr. Lavrich assured me (again) that it was going to be fine, & indeed I am. When it comes to health, especially your child, no on is "good enough"...trust this review.. Dr. Lavrich IS "good enough". I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Appointments are not easy to make for this Dr., but if you can wait, you will be more than happy that you are her patient! I certainly am.

I became a patient of Dr. Lavrich because I needed stronger prisms in my glasses because of stabismus. I had surgery to correct it when I was 13. I am now 61. I noticed increasing problems with focusing. When reading small print for extended periods of time, I was unable to immediately refocus to see things at a distance. Dr. Lavrich suggest I sign up for Orthoptic Therapy. It was a commitment financially. I had to purchase a computer training kit and spend approximately 35 minutes daily completing the exercises. I have been doing the exercises for 7 months and definitely see a difference in my ability to focus. I also have less headaches and my vision has improved slightly. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lavrich if you have any focusing problems.

Dr. Lavrich is awesome. I have Cataract's in both eyes, I have Glaucoma, as well as Lattice Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. She has been my eye doctor for many years. She is a consummate professional who truly cares about her patients. She is a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend her with out reservation to anyone looking for a amazing eye doctor!!

I recently had both cataracts removed by Dr. Stein. Both procedures went very well, but my vision in the left eye was till blurred several months following the surgery. After referring me to Dr. Sardi, a very large floater was discovered that was obstructing the entire field of vision in my left eye. Dr. Lavrich was able to apply a very new laser technique to safely remove 80% of the floater and greatly improve my vision! She is one of only 7 doctors in the US qualified to perform this procedure, which is far safer than a surgical operation. She also detected a problem with the way my eyes were interacting with each other that was affecting my depth perception and causing difficulty reading and eye fatigue. She referred me to Dr. Nicholson who gave me a program of eye exercises that I am now following to improve my vision. I am extremely satisfied with the expertise and professionalism of the doctors and staff at Total Eye Care. They absolutely chose the right name for their… organization!

Dr. Lavrich is an incredible doctor who has changed my life. If you know anyone who has had Lasix surgery that didn't go as well as they had hoped, if you know anyone who has been told the damage wasn't fixable or correctable, read on. 10 years ago I had Lasix. They corrected my 400+/20 vision down to about 40/20 (I was so near-sighted that when they said what's the first letter on the chart, I said "what chart" - it was blurry enough that I couldn't tell the chart from the wall.). Unfortunately, while making me less near-sighted, they also cut the flaps off center, so I have diplopia in both eyes. (double vision, even with one eye closed). I also have horrible glare, to the point where being in brightly lit rooms is like trying to see through cheesecloth. I was repeatedly told they couldn't fix it with more surgery, and that glasses and contacts couldn't correct it. I was stuck with poor vision. My sight is so bad when I watch my kids play soccer, I can't tell which one is mine. For… 10 years I held out hope, and I've gone to ophthalmologists to see if anything new was possible. Until Now. Until Dr. Lavrich. For the first time, she said "YES, I can give you glasses that correct this!" The moment I was able to look out her window and see the leaves on the trees and the bricks on the building across the street brought me to tears of joy. I am amazed that I have clear vision again, and will forever be grateful. What she does isn't widely acknowledged, and many doctors don't even know it's possible. But, if you know someone with botched Lasix, send them here. Hopefully it won't take them 10 years to find the right Dr. #thankful #joyful #IcanSee #LasixFails

Been choosing to take my children to see Dr. Lavrich for a very long time. I first had the opportunity to work with her when my now 31 year old child was around 8 years old. Received great service then as well as now when my 3 year old daughter needed to see a specialist. Dr. Lavrich is great, she has patience with my child even when my child is being the most difficult. The corrective surgery was well done and we are 1000 percent happy with the result. We highly recommend Dr. Lavrich.

Getting my daughter's vision diagnosis I was skeptical and now after only 3+ months on vision therapy and seeing results both in the doctors office and hearing it from her teacher and occupational therapist that they see improvement. I'm a believer if your child is struggling with reading and writing you might even think he/she has ADHD or Dyslexia because that was my thought. Even though your child could still have those issues, this diagnoses mimics those symtoms as well. I highly recommend getting their eyes checked for convergence issues, and Dr. Lavrich and her team are amazing.

Horrible. The staff was fine. The dr seems to think I have nothing else to do except wait for her. 3 hour appt that should have been under and hour
