Dr. Judy Diane Hustead, MD

I had been going to Dr Hustead for many years. We sent my 2 daughters & husband to see her also. We stopped going to her because she is so rude to her patients when they ask any questions about their eyes, their prescription, their treatment. She insisted on selling my husband an $800 pair of progressive lens bc she said they were the best in the world. (They were not). Another visit she said such a smart aleck remark to my husband he said he would never go back to her again. She also was snarky to my daughter about her prescription. •She got my prescription wrong for my glasses & I had to return to her office & have it redone. •She totally missed my glaucoma diagnosis & which caused partial blindness in my left eye. I had questioned her previously about my high pressure & she said, I will tell you when you need drops! The next visit after she examined my eyes, she said to the tech, how did I let this happen? I had lost partial vision. She then sent me to a glaucoma dr at Horizon.… I would not reccd her as an eye dr bc she is so defensive if you ask any questions. We are now going to CEEN&T.

Knows her stuff. Very caring and compassionate. I have difficult eye problems and she spent 30 minutes with me evaluating and explaining. The last Dr. I saw was in and out in 5 minutes

Poor customer service, no introduction, no eye contact.
