Dr. Judy Miramontes, MD

Not truthful, and I'm unhappy about her service

Since my terribly upsetting visit with Dr. Miramontes during which I pointed out that she was being rude, she has sent me a letter saying she will no longer be my doctor (firing me), little knowing that I was already searching for another primary doctor. (Guess I offended her) I found one and naturally, I wanted the records to be transferred to the new office. The new office lost my release (Yes, I know, but I am letting that one slide) and they told me to just go and pick up my records from Miramontes' office. Well, Miramontes topped herself-she refused to release my own records to me! The new doctor's office had never heard of this! They are my records and I have a right to them! For whatever good it will do, it's time to contact the medical board. At least they will have a record. This whole thing drove me to tears. Is Miramontes doing this for that purpose? BTW, I wish I knew what happened to the little boy whose circumcision she reportedly botched (read this in reviews) Is he… going to be okay?

I can't stay far enough from this woman from now on. My health plan changed, so I selected her as my new doctor, without knowing what I was getting into. The first time I went to see her she gave me a pap smear and I commented that it was uncomfortable. Her retort was "Well, there are things in life that hurt a lot more, aren't there?" Duh. Then she says, "well, I've done MY job." I thought that maybe she was just brusque but things would get batter and decided to give her another try. the second time, she was so rude and unprofessional I could hardly believe it. I told her that I had back spasms and had been prescribed soma for it in the past as needed. I had not taken any in over a year. She retorted with "that is habit forming." Duh. I told her that my old doctor had prescribed this for me for years-like I say, when needed when I'm really in pain-she then stated "Then you do have a habit." What? I told her that massages helped me most of the time and she said rudely "then go get… a massage." I had some information I brought to be added to my file and she said "how come it's not in the previous doctor's file", like I was trying to get one over on her. Why would I bring new info to the old doc??? I had ear and dizziness issues-she did not look in my ears, did not ask me any detailed questions but instead interrogated me about what other doctors said. All well and good I suppose but when I tried to explain my answers, she would interrupt and say "That's what I ASKED you" as if I wasn't being cooperative. She used unnecessarily fancy medical jargon, I guess to impress me with how smart she is, and I constantly had to ask her what she meant. She repeatedly said "I have other patients." Finally at the end of our "visit" I tried to ask one more question and she said" I have other patients. I'm not going to stand here and argue with you." That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I told her she was being rude. She started reiterating what we'd talked about and then seemed to forget and said "what was the other thing?" I told her she better see her other patients. Maybe I shouldn't have. I am so upset over that visit. I pay over $1400 for a PPO and this is what I get? This lady is rude, uncompassionate, unprofessional and obviously not a happy human being. I feel sorry for her, but sorrier for myself that I had to put up with that.

Yesterday I left speechless and in tears. I ran out of her office crying. I have never felt anything close to that in my entire life! She kept referring to an anti-depressant I did NOT take that was prescribed 6 years ago by another doctor. Nothing to do w/the present. It was like an interrogation was happening. I simply chose to not take it. I felt better didn’t feel I needed it. She interrupted me countless times. Talked down to me. She could have cared less if I was dying on her table. I started to cry and she did t care a bit. Just keep verbally making me feel worse. Do yourself a favor and read reviews before you schedule. Now after reading her reviews I feel like I walked into a trap!!!! Her reviews are horrendous across every platform. How is she still practicing??? Also a friend of mine reached out on social media and said she had the same experience 6 years ago!—ran out of her office crying! So she has been treating patients this bad for at least 6 years. My friend… filed a formal complaint. Obviously nothing has happened! I feel so bad for the next person she brings to tears. I hope my post here will prevent a few from scheduling. Judy Miramontes if you are reading this—-maybe you forgot you took an oath when you became a doctor?? It’s time for you to hang your white coat up and seek medical help for yourself. Something is not right with you. You need mental help. I would like to say a few choice words here but I will not lower myself to your level. Dr. Miramontes is abrasive and off-putting. Her policies discriminate against duel working parents and students. She refuses to see family members back-to-back. She does not explain what she is doing before doing it (before I knew it, her finger was up my rectum). She became argumentative when I did not understand what she was asking. Her office staff were not prepared to receive my families' medical records. None of the staff knew what to do. They appeared quite disorganized. The doctor had poor social skills and a lack of civility.

Would not let me finish explaining my symptoms before she started prescribing heavy liver destroying drugs. I did not want to cover over the issue I wanted to find the root of my pain and sluggishness. I finally switched to a new Dr who gave me a full checkup and panel and found I am extremely deficient in numerous vitamins. Now with changed diet and vitamins hopefully I can reverse some of the damage done.

I will always regret having her as the pcp for my sons and I. She botched my sons circumcision -shrugged it off like it was no big deal. She failed horribly to tend to my prenatal needs which lead me to have an emergency c section only after consulting with a different doctor. She is a terrible human being and should have her medical license revoked.

Doesn’t listen, can’t even prescribe the right dosage. Very defensive when the math error was clearly wrong. Poor exams where things are missed and won’t see you even when vet sick! Worst. Doctor. Ever.

She is the worst of the worst Dr I have ever had never let you say a word or she talks over you like your some dummy !! I wouldn't let my dog go with her she's very heartless never kind to me always felt like I was making up my sickness would see me for 1 min and always ready to give you fken meds !! Don't like her wish I would of left years ago !!! She needs to retire I would let every body know not to get her as a Dr very rude!! hope she gets reported!!
