Dr. Judy Hyunjoo Song, MD

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Song. So grateful I had her for a biopsy.

I had an abnormal mammogram and when time came to get my stereotactic breast biopsy, Dr J. Song, who was supposedly experienced, sent me home without even attempting to do it (she only took more images which she was quick to charge my insurance). She claimed that the microcalcifications were too close to my chest wall, she wanted me to schedule a surgical biopsy, which is more invasive. On her Medstar profile, she claims to care about health disparities, but proceeds to treat a patient from a minority group without any concern. Fast forward, I went to UMMC Baltimore and my doctors & technologists assured me that they do the less invasive procedure first before even contemplating the more invasive one. They successfully performed the stereotactic biopsy. My recommendation is do not go to Medstar GHU breast center and if you have to, ask for any other doctor, not Dr. Judy Song!

Dr. Song is very down to earth. I have had some benign (thankfully) breast issues the last couple years, and Dr. Song has been patient, thorough, spends plenty of time with you, and takes some of the scariness out of the experience.

I have had some benign breast issues for a couple years, and it is always nerve-racking to have mammograms and ultrasounds done. However, Dr. Song is reassuring, pleasant, personable, and more than competent in her specialty. Recommend.

Dr. Song kept me sane at a very scary time! I needed an ultrasound & was losing my mind. She told me what to expect, performed the procedure and even squeezed me in for a biopsy. When she called to give me the good news, I was very grateful. I would go to her again. Hopefully, I won't have to.

Dr . Song took time to explain my test results with me and showed me my mammograms, the one she read and from the years before. She was very thorough and reassuring.
