Specialties

Dr. Julia E Yaraei has the following 2 specialties

  • Internal Medicine

An internist is a physician who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the adult population—both acute and chronic.
These doctors are often who adults see as their primary physicians because they treat a broad range of illnesses that do not require surgical or specialist interventions. They also work to help a patient maintain optimal health in order to prevent the onset of disease.
In addition to treating the common cold and flu, internists also treat chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.

  • Pediatrics

A pediatrician is a doctor who specializes in the regular care of children, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of illness in children. Young patients are often more complicated to treat because they are still growing and developing.
While pediatricians may sub-specialize in specific therapy areas like oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, and anesthesiology, in general, pediatricians provide services like vaccinations, health exams, and treatment of common ailments and injuries. In addition, pediatricians are trained to handle the complex emotional and behavioral issues faced by children, especially during puberty.
Pediatricians normally see their patients from birth until the age of 18, although some may agree to treat patients into their early 20s, if requested.

First impression

Dr. Yaraei replaced our long-time pediatrician recently & We saw her for the first time for my 5 year old's well child check-up and shots to start kindergarten. I must say she's very vocal & opinionated. She seems very knowledgeable & gave us great advice but was very blunt & 'straight to the point' about it. Overall I gave her a 3. I'm fearful now however, bc I've read these other reviews & it's a bit unsettling if they are accurate.

Worst day of life

Dr. Julia Yuraei seemed to enjoy breaking my wife's heart and mine by picking up our beautiful 2 day old baby, referring to her as an "it," and then informed us when she sees "this" gesturing to our baby's face, she knows it is down syndrome even though she would put through the tests. Then when I asked when we could leave, she said my wife and I could leave anytime we wanted but the baby would not leave until she said so. She informed us she was in charge of the infant's health. This is a dark dark woman. I do not know what happened to her but something is deeply twisted in her. She seemed to enjoy the pain she caused.
