100% the most caring and understanding doctor I have ever seen! I've gone to many practices and this is the first time I've felt that I have actually made progress, plus family and friends see it too! The staff is always SO KIND and Dr.Sher is amazing at what she does! Very flexible with scheduling, allowing saturday appointments so I do not have to miss work and even do video appointments during this Covid-19 pandemic! Cant reccomend enough!!

The staff should be trained to handle mental patients with courtesy and a smile and not their demeaning attitude The new girl makes you feel welcome and is so pleasing to talk to as she is the one for blood pressure and weight. She is a good example for the staff to follow. We are sick and the staff should treat us accordingly and not make us feel worse!!

I have a wonderful counselor, Jessica, that I would love to see, but I refuse to be bullied by one of the receptionists. She is cocky, snotty, rude, and has zero idea how to handle herself in a mental health facility. The only reason I continue to go is to get the medicine that I need. That’s once every six months that I have to deal with her now. It’s a shame I gave up talking about my problems with someone who I think could really help me because this woman at the sign in desk, intimidates me and makes me feel awful.

At first i was unsure but in time everything paid off once we established a trusted patient Doctor relationship. staff is always professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of mental health assistance.Patient RBB

I wanted to see a therapist for mild depression, so I made an appointment for the following week, which was only for the intake procedure. The intake procedure was just someone asking me a long list of invasive yes/no questions while a man whose presence was unexplained observed. I told them I only wanted to see a therapist, but they made me take a drug test and then pressured me into making an appointment with the psychiatrist. ("If you don't do it now, and your therapist tells you it might be beneficial, you might have to wait an extra month for the help you need.") At the end of the procedure, I could make an appointment with a therapist for one week later. I don't know what the intake procedure was meant to achieve for the patient, but it didn't seem to be used when I saw the therapist. (More on that later.) It was a formality that resulted in a a bill the therapist's office could generate but no ostensible benefit for me. When I did see the therapist, it was a 7 P.M.… appointment, which is convenient, but after the office's normal hours, so I was the only person in the lobby. No one came to greet me at the appointment time, and after five minutes, I started calling out for help. It was only when I really started yelling--like top of my lungs yelling--at about 7:12, that the therapist came out and told me that a previous appointment was going long and I should wait. I've been to several therapists and "going long" isn't normally part of the procedure. Even if it were, the right thing to do would be to greet the patient with the 7 PM appointment at 7 PM and tell them to wait patiently. I just assumed that the therapist had forgotten about my appointment, which presumably he had. At 7:20, he walked out laughing with a woman, and then he saw me. The therapy itself again did not call on any of the information that I gave during the intake procedure. It was just a rambling pep talk that didn't seem based in any therapeutic models, and I mostly learned about the therapist's adolescent triumphs and failures. The office later called to reschedule the psychiatrist appointment I was pressured to make during the intake procedure. The intake and the actual session cost me the same amount of money, and I also received a $164 bill for the drug test, so now I'm hundreds of dollars poorer and just feel taken advantage of.
