Dr. Julie A Winfield has the following 2 specialties
A dermatologist is a doctor who has extensive training and knowledge of the skin, scalp, hair and nails and treats conditions that affect those areas. These doctors will evaluate any abnormality, blemish or lesion on the skin in order to determine the cause and will determine a course of treatment.
Dermatologists provide patients with full body scans in order to identify any signs that are indicative of an illness that requires treatment, such as skin cancer. These specialists may also provide cosmetic services, such as mole removal, scar diminishing treatments and even botox and face lifts.
A pediatrician is a doctor who specializes in the regular care of children, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of illness in children. Young patients are often more complicated to treat because they are still growing and developing.
While pediatricians may sub-specialize in specific therapy areas like oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, and anesthesiology, in general, pediatricians provide services like vaccinations, health exams, and treatment of common ailments and injuries. In addition, pediatricians are trained to handle the complex emotional and behavioral issues faced by children, especially during puberty.
Pediatricians normally see their patients from birth until the age of 18, although some may agree to treat patients into their early 20s, if requested.

Dr. Winflield is like a country doctor. She gets to know you, listens to your concerns, explains your alternatives, & treats accordingly. She has taken the time to research my problem, not too many doctors will anymore. Her treatments have worked well. I have been going to her for 10 years. You may have to wait to see her, remember she does not rush you. If you are on a schedule call her receptionist, Veronica and ask if she is running late.
Lovely disposition; lovely office. Don't be fooled. Her fees are outrageous. She charged me $500. for a 30 minute consult, most of which was chit chat, and to use liquid nitrogen on some brown spots. i pointed out 3 that I wanted treated. She was so engaged in her conversation, I had to point out the second one twice and the 3rd one she never did get to but she suggested 4 or 5 others and then decided she had to go over some of them 2 or 3 times. Apparently, she charged for each time because suddenly my bill was in a whole new category. I was shocked by the bill and not satisfied with the service. Neither she nor her office would return any of my several phone calls to discuss the matter.
Dr. Winfield is a wonderful doctor. She is extremely compassionate and caring as well as extremely skilled. She listened to all my concerns and addressed each one completely. I had the most complete skin exam I have ever had. She even looked between my toes! I felt extremely well cared for. I really appreciated that she sat down and took the time to discuss sun protection and skin care with me. She is a truly nurturingdoctor. I highly recommend her- she is the best of the best!
