Very rude unprofessional Doctor

His bedside manner is incredibly poor and he doesn't care to take the time to work with a patient if he doesn't feel like it. He is rude, arrogant, and uncompassionate which is very unfortunate because I was referred to him by a friend. The staff feigns friendliness. If you dare ask for more help or support in dealing with your illness/health concerns, they see it as a mere inconvenience. Save your money and time. He doesn't deserve to even work in the field of healthcare. He is without empathy for others.

Sorry excuse for a doctor! Will never go back!

My other Doctor left AllMed and Dr. Delgado took over his practice. On my first visit with him, Dr. Delgado spent an hour getting to know me and doing some tests that should have done a long time ago. He is from Nicaragua and I plan to retire in Costa Rica, so we had a lot of things in common. He is very knowledgable and pleasant. I really like him.

Delgado may be qualified, but he is arrogant and does not seem to care how his patients feel. The one review mentions he is not a hand holder - what the heck! Aren't doctors SUPPOSED to make you feel better as well as treat your disease? Doctors need to I realize that the medical field is a SERVICE business. Patients are their customers, pay their huge fees and are to be respected - not treated as though they were intruding upon the doctors valuable time! When you make a 1:00 appointment with Degado, plan to cancel your afternoon plans!

I have been a patient of Dr. Delgado -- I was even given the wonderful opportunity to work for him . The negative comments came at a difficult time in Dr. Delgado's life. Yes, you do wait ..but he is worth the wait. Yes, he is not exactly a hand holder, back patter kind of doc...because he is passionate about diabetes and while you think he seems disconnected. He is on his computer, putting in YOUR feelings as well as the whole reason YOU are there... to get you better. I agree with the every 3 month visit...not only to check your A1C, but to evaluate if your regimen needs tweaking. So be patient and not judgmental. This doctor is TOPS in Diabetes.. and for those who did not go back..it is truly your loss. I would "go to the ropes" for this one. Working for him was a wonderful but brief period in my nursing career.

For a first time visit, I was not impressed at all. The overall visit took too long and nothing was done by the doctor. Basically I wanted a diagnosis of having diabetes. I would expect an exam of some sought to be done. After a test of blood from my finger I was told I needed Insulin. Not just a little but a complicated method of injecting myself 4 times a day. I was livid. I almost felt like he was a spokesperson for Insulin. For a first time person of having diabetes and his method of handling it I was terrified leaving his office. Cried all the way home.
