Wonderful doctor. Very knowledgeable and accommodating with his time, and coordinates well with other Mayo Departments. Takes as much time as necessary and carefully explains the situation in detail, as well as the prognosis. Is down to earth and I am extremely satisfied with his service to date.

First visit. More than satisfied with his manner and expertise, especially prostate biopsy procedure.

After 4 months with my local Urologist, I tried Mayo. Dr. Gundian took time to listen to me describe my symptoms. Did some tests and he found the cause of my problem - all in ONE day! THANK YOU Dr. Gundian

Dr. Gundian is the epitome of what a physician should be. He has an excellent educational background and medical experience. Unlike many doctors, Dr. Gundian is approachable with questions and explains his answers thoroughly. He is compassionate and prompt to communicate on the patient portal. On top of all that, he is personally immaculate. Because of relocations, I have been seen by six Urologists during my adult life and none come close to comparing to Dr. Gundian.

I went to mayo for bladder spasms and leakage. I have a neurogenic bladder from MS. I asked to try some medication some of my other MS friends were on, Myrbetriq. He said oh no there are cheaper drugs. So he oerscibed flowmax. A drug for men’s enlarged prostate and not FDA approved for women . I tried it and it had terrible side effects. I portal emailed him and asked if I could just try another drug. He said no the only option is to self cath yourself. There is nothing I can do and you should find your self another doctor outside of the Mayo Clinic. He has a terrible bedside manner when a patient is scared. He may be really smart but he has forgot the basics of being a doctor. That your there to help people. He makes you feel like dirt. And that you don’t matter and he does not care- your just an old lady there who urinates on herself and can’t mske it to the bathroom any more. I would never recommend this doctor for anything. I told a hospital rep today that he told me to go… elsewhere for a urologist and they were very interested in him asking a patient to leave the Mayo system. All the other doctors and nurses are smart and kind. But not him.

Not what I had hoped for. Asking me for Mayo equipment available instead of knowing it. Never bother to take or look at pages filled out in waiting room. Just very disappointed with him on many levels.

Dr. Gundian was very professional, friendly and assuring.

Friendly with a sense of humor and has extensive knowledge and practice in the field of urology.... He performed my prostrate biopsy when I reached a PSA reading of 10.7. Under his care, today (4 years later ) I have a PSA reading of 3.8
