Dr. Julio A Miranda, MD

I went to see Dr. Miranda in April 2025, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I sought him out because I had been diagnosed with sarcoidosis. After running a test or two, he came back into the room, looked me directly in the eyes, and flat-out told me I “just have anxiety.” He completely dismissed my actual condition. He was absolutely WRONG. Thankfully, I trusted myself enough to get a second opinion, and another doctor confirmed the sarcoidosis diagnosis with a biopsy. I am furious, because I could have been receiving proper treatment months earlier if not for his careless dismissal. Just because I’m a woman does not mean my symptoms are “all in my head.” His attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and harmful. I would strongly warn others: avoid this doctor unless you want your real health concerns brushed aside and mislabeled as anxiety.

Dr. Miranda is great. He puts me at ease. He has very good judgment.

What I found most striking about Dr. Miranda was that he sat down in a chair and we discussed my condition. I wasn't sitting there in a hospital gown up on the exam table, but sitting in a chair, having a history taken by a doctor who was listening and taking notes. He took his time, and answered all of my questions, and quite frankly some of my challenges, with respect. I believe that his approach to diagnosis was well planned to proceed along the least intrusive path -- which I appreciated. I have received excellent care, potentially lifesaving care from Dr. Miranda.

I had been plagued all my life with recurring pulmonary issues until 2008 Dr. Miranda administered the correct vaccines which completely handled those issues for me.
