Dr. Juma Ahmed Bharadia, MD

Horrible. I was abused by him and his staff. They followed me to my car trying to beat me up . I ad to call the cops. Also look up his name on Google. His licensed was suspended for malpractice before!!! Do not come here. I'm warning you. Take your health seriously. He will kill you.

I was treated by a very professional , helpful and kind staff at Dr. Bharadia's office . Dr. Bharadia himself was a very knowledgeable and helpful man. Also the video display in his office waiting room was very informative and I learned a lot from it. I strongly recommend Dr. Bharadia and his staff to all patients.

This isn’t necessarily a review against Dr Bharadia because despite my having heart failure and recently being discharged from a week in the hospital…I have been ghosted by him twice (after sitting in the waiting room for an hour each time) so I can’t speak to if he is a good or bad Doctor, only a negligent one. The office, however, employs the most incompetent people at the reception desk I have ever encountered. Appointment 1: Heart Failure = Not being seen by Doctor and an appointment 3 months from now I was released weeks ago from the hospital for congestive heart failure and the hospital set up my appointment to meet with Dr Bharadia, explaining my condition and need for post-discharge care, tests, and a recovery plan. I then called the day prior to remind them to get my results from my PCP or hospital and explained my condition. I showed up 30 minutes early for paperwork, explained my condition again and asked them to please obtain my paperwork. They never did anything… to get my paperwork, I was only seen by a Nurse Practitioner who said I was on the right meds and sent me home with an appointment 3 months from now. I have HEART FAILURE AND A WEAK AND LEAKING VALVE THAT NEEDS A RECOVERY PLAN. I called the office when I got home to ask who I met with (she never introduced herself) and told them I needed to meet with the Doctor himself. They made an appointment for 2 weeks later. Appointment 2: No Call/No Show…Found out after waiting over an hour to be seen I show up for my second “first” real appointment, check in, wait an hour. I actually get an EKG this time but no one ever discusses the results with me (I could be dying…who knows?), I find out Dr Bharadia isn’t even in the office today and not only did no one call me, but no one told me when I checked in. She also tells me she never received my hospital records even though I was with my Doctor and his front office team when they sent them over. I tell the NP that I have meds running out, she tells me she can refill them but when I ask her if I need them refilled or if I’m supposed to still be taking them she leaves and goes behind closed doors with another patient. The receptionist lied and said my phone number wrong…which is funny because they called me on my correct line Friday to confirm my appointment…they had the correct number. It then takes her 5 attempts to type my “correct” phone number. I have a heart that needs attention from a Cardiologist with a recovery plan and tests and have wasted 6+ hours (drive time + wait time) out of my work day to be ghosted.

Dr. Bharadia is one of the best cardiologists we have never known. My husband suffers from a cardiac condition and Dr. Bharadia always takes the time to explain and educate us about the illness and the prognosis. He speaks the truth with such empathy and caring that even in difficult time, we left his office with a smile. Gina S.

I am Benoit G. from Canada. Moved to Los Angeles 5 years ago. Was referred to Dr. Juma Bharadia by my family physician. Was easy to get a rapid appointment. Wait time at office is always short and in bonus, you being taken in charge by a nurse practitioner and a technical team. Follow up was appreciated. Dr. Bharadia is a great cardiologist since I met him. A year ago, I had to go to the ER for arythmia issues and Dr. Bharadia took the lead at California Hospital Medical Center and became my champion since that day. You cannot imagine what he has done and manage to get me all the health support and became my quarterback for all my cardio needs. I will never hesitate to refer him to anybody who wants the best for his life. Difficult to find a better doctor specialist of that nature.
