Dr. Justin P Mcwilliams has the following 3 specialties
- Diagnostic Radiology
Radiologists help doctors get a closer look at what’s happening inside your body. If your primary care doctor wants to investigate your symptoms further, they may refer you to a radiologist to get an ultrasound or x-ray. Some radiologists specialize in mammography and breast imaging, which is who you see when you need a mammogram. A Radiologist can also determine if bones are broken or fractured after any kind of accident.
Radiologists are trained to perform MRIs and CT scans, both of which are used to determine the presence of diseases or disorders and help your doctor properly diagnose you. They can detect anything from tumors, bleeding and infections to bone and muscle disorders.
- Vascular & Interventional Radiology
A radiologist is a physician who specializes in the use of medical imaging to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries in patients.
The different types of medical imaging are X-ray, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
Radiologists are experts in these different types of tests and can advise a primary care doctor on which test is most appropriate in a specific case. One of the best doctors. I can't say enough about my entire experience. I traveled all the way from Connecticut to undergo a procedure that could have been done locally. I had many choices in the area, but Dr. J. McWilliams not only took the time to speak to me directly he arrange other doctors to see me during my short stay. He is compassionate and thorough and spends enough time with you to answer all your questions. The day of the procedure he came to see me prior to answer any more additional questions. I was up during the procedure and he was gentle and kind. I felt no pain and the heal time was minimal. If your in need of a top radiologist go no further, you have come to the right place.
Dr. McWilliams is one of the best doctors I've ever had. His bedside manners are impecable. He makes me feel incredibly comfortable, and thoroughly explains procedures and answers to all questions. He even personally answers emails about my concerns, usually within less than hour. If you need a radiologist, Dr.McWilliams is the best.
