Dr. Justin Phillip Strickland, MD

This guy is seriously the best. He is a very thorough physician who will make sure to get you taken care of. My MRI was not showing a meniscus tear but he ended up finding it once he was doing my surgery and fixed it. I would recommend him to anybody 1000%. Plus he’s such an awesome guy with great bedside manner :)!

Doc S is prompt, listens to your concerns, answers questions readily and honestly concerned about helping his patients.

Great practice. Everyone is friendly. Dr. Strickland spent time with me and made sure I understood the x-rays and what we were looking at. Highly recommend!!

Very professional and kind. As a disabled veteran, I chose Dr. Strickland based on one metric: my VA physical therapist said he consistently gets shoulder surgery patients back from him and only one other Wichita area surgeon who heel quickly and are comfortable doing maximal ROM right away post-op. Dr. Strickland upheld his reputation.

I was referred to Dr. Strickland by my PCP, after a Bicep Tendon Rupture. An unexpected death in my family caused a delay in treatment and was pushing a pivotal window for treatment. Dr. Strickland realized this, and pushed up our original date to schedule the needed surgery sooner. This will be key to a faster and more complete recovery. His friendly and personable demeanor, along with his understanding of my situation, helped ease a very tense apprehension of a positive outcome. With this type of injury, there were several issues that could effect the procedure, but he planned ahead and and was prepared for alternative measures. I went from serious apprehension, to complete relief, that my outcome would be a positive one. Everyone involved with his office is as friendly and professional as he is. Working to make sure everything that was required was ready to go. Also, making sure I was informed and knew exactly what my part of the process was. The day of my surgery, he stopped in to… check on me, and to answer any questions I might have. Later that evening, he personally called me to check on me and give me his perspective on how he felt things went. To me, that shows just how much he cares for his patients. I highly recommend him and his staff. They are top notch, and this is coming from somebody who doesn't normally care for any doctors. Dr. Strickland is first class.
