Dr. Girod has been my PCP since she started her practice in 2006. I have always received extraordinary care from her and her staff. She is so personable and whip smart. Without a doubt, I will be transferring my care to IU Health when she leaves Lutheran Medical Group next month.

Dr. Girod is very personable and cares. She relates very well with her patients. Visits take a little longer because she actually spends time with you to find out what is going on in your life. She is knowledgeable and listens to how you would like to handle things, making suggestions rather than edicts. I love tgat she will look for alternatives if you want them - like acupuncture. I also love that she is proactive on health issues based on family history. I will miss having her for my primary care!

I appreciate the thoroughness and personal attention provided by Dr Girod AND her team. Dr Girod still takes the time to listen and consider the entirety of the patient’s history, needs and approach to healthcare rather than just giving a surface glance to the current symptoms at hand before formulating the optimal path to wellness. As a former pharmaceutical rep, I’ve met many, many doctors in a myriad of cities. There are none I’d rather attend to my health than Dr Girod. (And never sell short how a staff feels about the physician they work for…it’s very telling. Dr Girod and her team are close—-that’s important to me)
