Kaith Almefty, MD, received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He graduated with honors from both universities. Dr. Almefty received several awards in medical school for his academic achievements and his character. Dr. Almefty became a resident at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He also completed a fellowship in skull base surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Almefty joined Barrow as a neurosurgeon after completing his residency. Dr. Almefty is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
