Dr. Kamal K Dutta, MD

Title says it all, mid 20's still a virgin, and apparently I cant have birth control even though it was the driving force of my visit to combat bad periods. Like I literally stated that upon meeting him and I walked away without it. I will say that what he prescribed instead worked great but me not getting birth control because I'm a virgin while 13 yr olds get birth control for bad periods all the time :0 Forgetting the offense and waste of time, he is one of those doctors who charges you a visitors fee just to give you a 120 second explanation of your exam results and then bids you farewell.

He is so disrespectful and don’t care about women’s health but only about $$$&$. I witnessed him call a long time patient “ghetto”. Don’t even bother he’s not a caring person.

What i like about Dr, Dutta he give his patient's his undivided attention he spent time asking question, I have been a patient over 15 yrs and he has not change very knowlegable doctor. The care and time spent with his patients this you do not see anymore others just treat you like a number. not only is he an excellent doctor that did my surgery but the time he take to listen to his patient and neverin a hurry i give him a ***** EXCELLENT DOCTOR

Dr. Dutta has been my physician for the last 15 years. He delivered my two children and took care of my many gynecological problems. Three weeks ago, I felt a breast lump and was extremely worried, I could get in touch with him within one minute and he gave me an appointment within an hour. He even called the diagnostic center so that I can get the earliest appointment for a mammography and ultrasound of the breast. I always felt comfortable with him as he always understands the nervousness and anxiety of the patient. He always takes the time to answer all my questions. He explains everything with pictures and makes sure I understand all the options of treatment and complications. All my friends and relatives are his patients and they are completely satisfied. You can always depend on him to return your call within a few minutes. HE IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

I called this doctors office for appointment and told them clearly I did a home pregnancy test and it was positive. They did not tell me the doctor does not take Pregnancy cases. I went for an appointment and the doctor was not there. They said they did not take my number so could not inform me, Still I went the next day. They were making me ready for PAP. I told them I just came here to get my pregnancy confirmed. They seemed confused. The doctor came in and checked my breasts for any lumps and I kept telling him I just want to confirm my pregnancy and he went ahead and did internal exam. After all this the doctor tells me they don't take pregnancy cases and that he'll refer me to a different doctor if my urine test comes positive. What the h***! After the appointment I was feeling very uncomfortable and had pain in my lower abdomen. In the middle of the night I had severe cramps with bleeding. I called the doctor next morning and he says I've had a miscarriage and to just take… rest. I later came to know through my other friends who had kids that the doctor should not have done the internal exam. It was too early for that. I went to the ER and they said there was nothing in my uterus and my hcg count was low. They found a soft tissue in my fallopian tube. When i followed up with DR. Kamal he said its life threatening and scheduled me for a surgery. I asked him if it can be treated with medicine and he said surgery was the only option. Finally I changed my doctor and this Dr. Kamal had the nerve to call me and tell me that if something happens to me he is not responsible and he repeated 3-4 times that my condition is life threatening. When I asked him if he took a PAP test and to share the results, he started being defensive that my miscarriage was not because of Internal exam. I did not have to blame him at all. He on his own was being defensive which makes me wonder... Finally my new doctor Dr. Cogliani said surgery was not needed as my condition was diagnosed early and my health was stable. They gave me methotrexate injection which is the approved treatment for ectopic pregnancy if diagnosed early. I don't know why there are so many good reviews for this doctor. The only reason I went to this doctor was because its just 5 minutes drive for me and there were good reviews for Dr.Kamal. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT DO NOT GO HERE! Even if you want to go for any other reason think twice! There are many good doctors around. If I could give him 0 rating I would!

Didnt even get to make an appt at the 1117 rte 46 office because it seemed that just asking for the Dr. hours there was annoying the office staff. So since just asking that question seemed to be a problem, I can't imagine what it would be like if you really needed their help for anything important. A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT at how rude they were.

Dr. Durga delivered my baby 17 yrs ago. He took care of my problem with bladder issues recently. He doesn't rush thru appointments and spends time with his patience. I was wary initially as had to choose between this male Gyn who was close to home to a lady Dr who was a bit far away and chose and I am so glad as he has made me very comfortable and am extremely happy with him and his medical knowledge. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dutta has been my OB-GYN for the last 20 years. I would not think of going any where else. He is attentive and take a lot of time with each of his patients. I have referred my mother, sister and daughter to Dr. Dutta who all became his patients as well.
