Kara Hoisington, DO

In the years I've been a patient, I've yet to receive a return call the day I've placed it. I've had to call 3-4 separate days to talk with the nurse asst. (I only call once a day at most). I'm patient, but that's totally unacceptable

Dr Kara is a very caring and friendly Doctor. She spends a great amount of time with you, and listens to you. I would recommend her to anyone.

Don't be late to your appointment or they will try to make you reschedule. I had to wait months to get an appointment and then when I was a little late arriving they wanted to reschedule. I told them not to bother I'll use another doctor. The office staff did not seem to care that she lost a patient over being a little late. She is a good doctor but not worth that kind of hassle, especially when I have waited long periods of time in the past to see her.

I called to ask for appointmen, as soon as I asked if Dr. was taking new patients she said, " no," as I began to ask another question I realized she had hung up on me, without a goodbye, thank you for calling, nothing. Almost glad Dr. Hoisington isn't taking patients if this is how they are treated.

Smart doctor. Poor communication, staff follow through. Not readily available for crisis. Poor Medicare cooperation.

I am very disappointed with doctor Kara Hoisington and her staff. They do not return phone calls they are incompetent and they are rude. When I first started going to her, she was really nice and her staff/ nurse was descent. Another thing I don't like is that you can never just call the doctor and speak to her, and she never seems to be in the office when you need her. Recently I was having problems with her nurse so I contacted the HR office and filed a complaint against her and they just told me I'm no longer her patient. I do not recommend going here it is not worth it.

This is the worst doctor's office Ihave been to. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour, then was called back to the exam room and waited to see Dr. Kara Hosington. She was very unprofessional. I will not go back to her.

I have never met a Doctor who cares so much about how you are feeling. She actually listens to you.

I would recommed her to anyone with Endrocrine disorders. She has gotten my thyroid under control and monitors it very closley. She didn't try to rush with me and took her time to actually get all my information. She is a great doctor

I would highly reccomend her to diabetics who are having trouble with BG control.She has helped me tremendously.She uses latest tech, and used data I had.Answers my questions, and takes plenty of time.I wasn't rushed thru.
