Dr. Kara Ryan, MD

Dr. Kara Ryan is a board-certified pediatrician at Hyde Park Pediatrics affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital who provides comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents in the Hyde Park and Milton communities. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and later served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps before receiving her medical degree from Mayo Medical School. Dr. Ryan completed her pediatrics residency and served as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children before joining Hyde Park Pediatrics in 2005. She is committed to patient-centered care that supports healthy growth and development from infancy through young adulthood, with a special interest in integrating behavioral health into pediatric care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ryan serves on the medical advisory committee and board of a New Hampshire overnight camp focused on promoting health and wellness for children and families.
