Dr. Karen E Engebretsen, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Karen's for about 3 years and she helped me greatly. Years later, after relocating, I provided Dr Karen's information to new therapist in order to obtain my treatment notes. I was so disappointed that Dr. Karen found it necessary to discredit me due to a billing situation in which she attempted to charge me interest for the payments she waited for from my insurance company. There was an extended period when Dr. Karen was seeing me 2 to 3 times per week, at her direction, so eventually she was paid very well for the services she provided. I was shocked that over 10 years after my treatment with her ended and I was asked several times to attend her group sessions, she chose to speak unkindly about me. Extremely disappointing that all the progress made and paid for had to be spoiled by this.
