Dr. Karen Ruth Okelly, MD

This woman diagnosed me with a personality disorder after seeing me for only one session. I am reading the clinical notes she wrote in my VA files, and they are snarky, arrogant and heavily pathologizing. Please think twice before seeing this person. I am worried that she still has a license and is in practice.

This doctor shouldnt be treating patients, heck, she's not fit to treat a pile of rocks. Not a good representative of a dr at VA. She misrepresented, mislead and embellished facts that hurt myself as the patient. She told me shed rather be " safe than sorry" however, it certainly wasn't for me benefit but for hers. She has no concern for the patient or the ramifications her actions cause for them. Avoid her like then plaque, it's scary that anyone must be able to get a degree now.

was her patient at va medical center mountain home. the worst doctor on the planet. totally misdiagnosed 2 conditions and totally misread (or did not bother to read at all) a mri that showed that i needed immediate spinal fusion/decompression. accused me of seeking drugs. i could barely walk and she snapped at me and said i was getting no narcotics from her....????well, she just sucks and needs to go work at a nursing home in asia somewhere
