Dr. Karen L Schogel, MD

I loved how Dr. Schogel takes her time to really listen to you. I’ve never felt rushed, or taken lightly. She is a truly caring physician. I highly recommend her practice.

Dr. Shogel is a very caring individual. She takes time to explain the situation so I understand it. I leave her office with all my questions answered.

Terrible Dr. Karen Schogel prescribed mobic 15mg twice a day plus Ibuprofen 600mg for at least four years and then denied it. I have plenty of proof from bottles to my pharmacist. The entire staff denied it and caused alot of unnecessary pain. I panic as I suffer from mentally illness and have a pain pump implanted because of my stenosis, osteoporosis, three compression fractures in my spine. I ask the staff and management why Schogel changed the dosage. Plus she didn't want me to see a dermatologist because I was sweating bad on a daily basis. The manager told me they are not giving me anymore drugs which are prescriptions and my parents were listening to her on our other lines and heard them start speaking to me in a very nasty threatening manner and told me they would call the police if I called back. After my parents heard this they called them back to understand what the big deal was and to straighten it out. Then the police called me and told me not to call them back every again… and Dr. Schogel would mail me a letter that I still did not receive. Found out that the mobic taken twice with the Ibuprofen will cause ulcers in my intestines and stomach from Dr. Ashim K Dayalan who was very rude because of the mobic I take plus the Ibuprofen. Told me I took to much mobic and Ibuprofen but if he would have done his homework he would have known that Genesis Medical Associates Inc which he is a part of was the reason. Why didn't Dr. Schogel tell me this.

I have been to many doctors over the years and consider myself to be very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Schogel when I moved to Pennsylvania. She is a very caring person and listens very carefully, runs tests as needed and sometimes refers me to specialists. But the diagnonis always comes out right and my condition was properly treated. She is a wonderful doctor.The picture probably dates to when she completed her internship. She's a little older and wiser.

I've been her patient for over 7 years and this IS HER picture above. She is a very beautiful person inside and out. She is beyond excellent as far as a physician goes and she will always get the bottom of what ails you. I have a very close patient/doctor relationship with her and I can always count on her to take wonderful care of my health issues and to be available when I need her. What more can you ask for?

She is everything you want in a family physician.Always available, she sees you as a whole person and works to help you live a healthy life.
