Dr. Karen L. Sherman

Had a 3 inch abdominal abscess. She down played my excruciating pain and did silver nitrite sticks which did nothing but cause more pain. My fevers were102.4 and she would not work me in for an appt. I finally saw another surgeon, was admitted to hospital immediately due to possibility of sepsis. The new surgeon removed the 3 inch abscess and moved my stoma to the other side so my abscess wound would heal. She is a horrible Dr, matter of fact I wouldn't even call her a Dr. Thank goodness I got away from her and found a competent surgery to heal me. Run from her.

I have the worst stoma done by this uncaring, arrogant "surgeon". I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. She completely ruined me. Please I beg of you if you love you family do not go to this horror.

Needed emergency colorectal surgery. Dr. Sherman really took the intensity out of a scary experience. She was extremely patient and thorough during the pre-op phase; answering all questions my wife and I had. Excellent bedside manner post-op. I had pain issues the first night of discharge. Called the answering service at around 1am. Dr. Sherman called me back no less than 10 minutes later. Again, very calm and caring. She is an excellent doctor.
