Dr. Abdul Karim Mansour, MD

I have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic. If I donâ??t lose 40 pounds in the next 2 years I will probably develop blood glucose problems. I feel Dr. Mansour is indifferent and unhelpful with my situation. I have been seeing him for 4 months now and he does not seem to accept partial blame for my poor weight loss results. Also Karim did not exhibit professional courtesy Dr. Mansour and my psychiatrist had differing professional opinions on whether the drug Metformin would help me lose weight and avoid diabetes. As the internist it was Dr. Mansour's call, but what bugs me is that he told my psychiatrist he would review the call but instead he did nothing. I agree that doctors need autonomy, but they shouldnâ??t just blow each other off.

This doctor should not oversee adults. As a woman I was treated like a 2nd class citzen where he dismissed my issues and then lied when nurses tried to advocate for my needs. This man should loose his license.

Chauvinistic , condescending jerk! Treats women horribly . Does not respect women and treats them like they are stupid and less then. Arrogant as the most incompetent doctor ever. A disgrace to the medical profession. Steer far away from this quack.

I think he is good with children and men, but not as good with women. He can be dismissive and arrogant if questioned, and wants to be the authority figure rather than consultant. He is less informed about women's health interests. Nurse practitioners in his office are wonderful.

I normally do not do reviews on people or places but I just thought I would write one. My boys have been seeing Dr Mansour for about five years and he is absolutely the best doctor I have ever taken them to .I am very over protective and a hypochondriac he never makes me feel stupid for my calls or visits and he clearly is great at what he does I 100 percent trust in what he tells me and would not dream of taking my kids else where he's awesome

I thought long and hard before deciding to write a review of Dr. Mansour because I read reviews and depend on them for insight so I don't take these things lightly. That being said, Dr. Mansour was my grandma's doctor and I often take my grandma to her appointments so I had plenty of opportunities to interact with him. He is arrogant, abrasive and downright hostile. My grandma had a serious medical condition and when I asked him to repeat the name of the disease (those medical terms are pretty tricky) he snapped at me and said "I can't keep repeating this for you!" I couldn't believe how he was speaking to me and treating my grandma. At one point he even yelled at me and said "Don't roll your eyes at me!". I'm not sure who this man thinks he is, but a good doctor he IS NOT. I tried reporting him to Sharp, but because he's part of Sharp Community and not the main Sharp they didn't do much. Please steer clear of this horrible doctor!

I trnsferred my children to Dr. Mansour a few months ago and after the first appointment I could tell he reqally listened to my concerns and made some helpful suggestions regarding my son's asthma. The staff is also very informative and friendly and they actually will take time and go over questions, progress and everything with you. He is 10 times better than our previous pediatrician. A great pediatricican is really life changing and I am really happy with Dr.Mansour

Dr. Mansour is an excellent Dr. if you can handle the frustration and rudeness of the appointment line and his front staff. Whoever answers the phone (if you are lucky enough to get through) is usually rude. Dr. Mansour has been excellent with my children and has given them excellent care. Just be prepared to be extremely frustrated trying to get through the people on the phone to get information from him or a chance to make an appointment.
