Dr. Karin J Dunnigan, MD

I had a terrible experience with this doctor and her assistant. I had my colonoscopy screen last year. They spent 3.5 hours and removed some polyps and left some unremoved, I was told a further surgery is needed and need to make another schedule. I sent my results to other doctors and they are hard to believe it. I had my screen again this year and all polyps are removed without any issue. My only recommendation is to avoid this doctor and don't waste your money and time.

I had a medical procedure scheduled with Dr. Dunnigan. When I arrived early for my appointment, I was told by the reception staff that she was running "very late." It would be about an hour and a half wait "or more." When I attempted to give the staff my filled out detailed health history that Dr. D's office sent me, I was told she wouldn't read it and to keep it. After my long wait, I was brought back to the prep area. The nurses were top notch pros. Very kind and efficient. They said: "it will be awhile," they were sorry, but Dr. D came in to the Center late, as "she always does", and her "patient's procedure times were all backed up." So I waited some more. Dr. D never came out to speak with me as most doctors who are about to perform a procedure will do. Instead, she left it to the nurses to explain the routine. Same with after the procedure, Dr. D did not come out to speak with me. Not to tell me if she found something, any concerns she had or to answer questions that I may have… had. She also tossed that task to the nurses. Yet she paced in front of my cubicle 3 times once I was fully awake. Never stopping. In the literature that her office sent, it stated I would get a follow up call from their office the next day.. that didn't happen either. In my experience, Dr. D had a total disregard and disrespect for her staff and her patient's concerns and time.
